Capturing the moment is the key. In truth, every day is golden, we just need to open our eyes and see it. There are times a little extra care and attention is required to help us all see the wonder, but it’s there, waiting to be enjoyed.
We took the opportunity to get into the great outdoors recently. There was no need to travel far and with the rain clouds clearing and sunshine breaking through, we grabbed a couple of chairs, pulled on our coats and caps and sat there in the garden. We enjoyed the birds, and squirrels visiting the feeders and we tracked, Wood pigeons, Collard Doves, Robins, Blackbirds, Great Tits, Great Spotted Woodpeckers, Magpies, Blue Tit’s, Crows and even a Heron flying over, together with the grey squirrels and our cats swirling around.
To make the day complete we rustled together a picnic. No, you don’t have to go out to enjoy a picnic, in your own garden or yard the food tastes just as good and a hot flask to go with it.
We all smiled on this day.
Some days are golden!
